Our company
As a traditional German family business, our values are very much back in vogue today: Quality, trustworthiness and reliability characterize our products, our customer service and us personally as people.
As a family business rooted in Hesse, we have been increasingly serving customers in other countries since the 1980s. We are often surprised ourselves at where
our pliers and special-staples are used.
Over the years, we have become accustomed to doing business all over the world on a daily basis. Within our modest framework, we embody the principle of “think global, act local” - and enjoy our work thanks to our diverse contacts and international network.
1949
Foundation of the company as FF Fieberg Frankfurt by Heinz Fieberg
1959
Development of the first wafer-thin special staple for the menswear industry.
Together with the invention of the first manual stapling device TEX-33, the gentle stapling of outer fabrics replaces the use of pins and rows of thread.
In the following years, the devices and special clamps were continuously developed further in cooperation with clothing technicians.
1989
Transformation of the company into ANKER-TEX GMBH following the departure of Mr. Fieberg. The sole managing director is Dipl. Ing. Joachim Hennig (photo above).
1990
Christa Hennig joins the company. In the following years, the company becomes increasingly international in Western and Eastern Europe as well as overseas. ANKER-TEX products are now supplied to 58 countries.
2002
After the passing of the managing director, Christa Hennig continues to run the company on her own.
2003
After completing her engineering studies, her daughter Dipl. Ing. Michaela Kilian takes over the technical department at ANKER-TEX.
Takeover of production and sales of pneumatic stapling pliers from RAPID. This results in an expansion of the product range. In addition to the range for the clothing industry, devices and staples for other branches of industry can now also be offered.
2005
Ms. Kilian becomes 2nd Managing Director
2009
RAPID also hands over the production and distribution of manual stapling pliers exclusively to ANKER-TEX. This results in a further expansion of the industrial uses and applications of the stapling pliers.
2011
Development of three new stapling plier models and first presentation at TexProcess in Frankfurt. Revision of the entire ANKER-TEX marketing and communication tools.
2022
At the end of the year, Ms. Hennig leaves the company and Ms. Kilian becomes the sole managing director.
2024
Updating the website and founding the “Anker Upcycling” label.
We manufacture 100% of our products in Germany
Each stapling plier is assembled by hand in our company and checked for suitability for use by means of a test stapling before dispatch.
Prompt repair and delivery service
And because something can break, our technical department repairs every pair of pliers that we have ever manufactured. To ensure that our customers' business can continue to run as smoothly as possible, we always process repairs immediately. As with repairs, so with orders: Deliveries usually leave our premises on the same day - over 90% according to our internal statistics.
